RULES: |
Applicable USA Swimming rules shall govern this competition. Maryland Swimming rules shall also apply. USA SWIMMING / MD SWIMMING SAFETY GUIDELINES AND WARM-UP PROCEDURES WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE MEET. No one will be permitted in the competition area of the pool deck unless they are registered with USA Swimming as an athlete, or as a non-athlete working the meet. The only exceptions will be for timers and administrative staff assisting with the conduct of the meet. Coaches will be required to display their credentials while on deck. |

ELIGIBILITY: |
The meet is open to all 2006 USA/Maryland registered swimmers in age groups 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, and 15 & Over within the qualifying time standards. Age is determined as of March 10, 2006. The meet is closed to swimmers outside the Maryland Swimming LSC. No entrant will be permitted to compete unless that entrant is a member of USA Swimming as provided in Article 302 of the USA Swimming Rules and Regulation. Clubs who enter swimmers who are not registered by March 4th will be fined $100.00 and the swimmers will not be allowed to compete in accordance to Maryland Swimming rules. |

| TIME QUALIFICATIONS: | Age groups 11-12, 13-14, and 15 & Over: Entry times must be faster than or equal to 2006"B" times but slower than 2006 Maryland LSC Swimming Championships Qualifying Times. Age group 9-10: Entry times must be faster than or equal to 2006"BB" times but slower than 2006 Maryland LSC Swimming Championships Qualifying Times. No time entries are not acceptable. Time Standard Exception: Swimmers with times meeting the 2006 Maryland LSC Swimming Championships time standards but not achieved in a short course pool since March 17, 2005 may be swum in this meet. |

ENTRY |
All entries must be submitted on 3.5 floppy disks (or USB drives) or submitted on the attached swimmer entry form. If information is submitted on the form, it must be complete and printed legibly. Swimmers may enter a maximum of (2) events on Friday, (4) events on Saturday, and (4) individual events on Sunday. The meet director reserves the right to limit entries to stay within the applicable time constraints of the meet. Deck seeds will only be accepted prior to thirty minutes before the scheduled start time and must be paid at the time of the deck seed. NOTE: Deck-seeded athletes not entered prior to the meet must show proof of USS registration by showing the swimmer's current 2006 registration card. A meet set up file for Team Manager will be available on the Maryland Swimming website. |

ENTRY DEADLINE: |
All entries must be received by the Meet Director by 5:00 PM on March 4, 2006. Maryland LSC teams whose entries are received by the entry deadline will have first priority. Mail entries with required signature waived to:

ENTRY FEES: |
The fees for this meet will be $5.00 per individual event. Entry fees must be mailed with the entries. Deck-seeded events will be $6.00 per individual event and must be paid at the time entries are added. Checks should be made payable to the Chesapeake Bay Aquatic Club or CBAC. |

Ribbons will be awarded for first through eighth place for individual events. |

RESULTS: |
Results will be posted continuously throughout the meet. Additionally, results will be available for downloading from the MD swimming web site at www.mdswim.org 48 hours after the conclusion of the meet and from www.cbacswimming.org. Teams entering the meet by disk or usb drive will be provided the results on disk or usb drive at the conclusion of the meet. Printed results will be mailed upon request only. |

Programs will be on sale at the concession stand at the cost of $10.00 each. |

DIRECTIONS: |
From the Washington Beltway, take Rt. 5 south to Waldorf. Turn left/south on Rt. 235 / Rt. 5 in Waldorf and stay straight on Rt. 235 to Lexington Park. After reaching Lexington Park, you will pass the main gate at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Continue past Lexington Park for six (6) miles and make a right onto Mattapany Road. Go approximately 1.8 miles and turn right onto E. Fisher Rd. Somerset Hall is the large brick building on the right. You may also take Rt. 4 south from the Washington Beltway to Solomon’s Island. Cross the bridge and proceed to the intersection of Rt. 4 and Rt. 235. Make a left on Rt. 235 south to Lexington Park and follow the highlighted directions to the pool. From Baltimore take Rt. 301 south to Rt. 4 in Upper Marlboro. Take Rt. 4 south to Solomon’s Island and follow the highlighted directions above. From Annapolis take Rt. 2/4 south to the intersection in Sunderland. Turn left/south to Solomon’s Island and follow the highlighted directions to the pool. View map. |
