Maryland LSC Select Camp - Colorado Springs, CO

Purpose: To instill a vision of success and inspire athletes in our LSC by providing the opportunity to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs (6350 ft. elevation). The Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs provides housing, meals and a 50 meter pool to qualified swim teams and their coaches.
24 Athletes (12 Male, 12 Female) - Top 4 power point scores added up for each swimmer.

National Select Camp:
Each fall, USA Swimming brings 60 of the top USA Swimming member athletes in the nation for a once-in-a-lifetime camp experience. Swimmers are selected from the SWIMS database of top times. During the camp, these swimmers will learn about post race recovery, drug and supplement rules, psychological training skills, nutrition, race strategy and more.
Open Water Select Camp
USA Swimming offers 24 of the country's best distance swimmers the opportunity for a unique motivational and educational experience. The National Open Water Camp is an intergral step for athletes to move from the pool to Open Water and then to the international scene.
Diversity Select Camp
Each spring, USA Swimming invites 36 athletes from underrepresented populations to participate in a three-day camp program which includes pool training, motivational and education sessions and team-building activities. Selection is based on times swum at USA Swimming sanctioned events.
